Thank you to those who have sent me their gorgeous photos of ducks! They are really lovely - I'm not sure I'm ever going to tire of looking at them and they will undoubtedly be the subject of new paintings. Its lovely knowing where their pictures were taken too, so if anyone else wants to send some in - please do and let me know the location. I look forward to his next epic educational physics extravaganza! - J Ok - so the site is pretty much finished - hoorah! The next major edit will be when Ive finished the paintings and photographed the work for the Open Studios. I am thinking of opening a new tab entitled `Ducks in Progress'! as people seem to want to see them in all their various stages, but I need to think about that one. Sometimes they change so dramatically between layers I'm not sure how interesting it will be. Hmm.... maybe I'll try it next week. Until then xx Wow the response has been amazing you guys! I'm so pleased the ducks are generating so much enthusiasm - they are a joy to paint and really do make you forget the rest of the world, for a bit. At least that is until they require more bread and you've run out. Looking outside my window, it looks like the second most gorgeous day of the year so far in London, (the first being yesterday). Time to go study, photograph, sketch and just plain enjoy the local pond....ahh the life of a full time artist! Bye f'now x PS. Ive finished all the labelling of the rest of the work on the site Hiya - I keep thinking, ok - I won't start the blog until everything in the website is EXACTLY as I want it, but as time runs by, I realise this is going to be a Forth Bridge scenario. I am publishing this site with bits that aren't right yet - ie. some of the paintings aren't labeled with their names, some of my duck paintings are still in development etc etc But I think this site is always going to be a work in progress.
